What are flame retardants?
Flame retardants are substances that act as “fire hammers” and are thus intended either to contain or, at best, completely prevent the spread of fires. Wherever the development of a fire is likely because suitable ignition sources are available (e.g. cars, residential and industrial buildings, workshops, production facilities, etc.), suitable fire protection must be provided. For this purpose, manufacturers of the relevant products use flame retardants.
Häffner is the first link in the chain for the producers. We supply the manufacturers of flame retardants and fire hammers with the necessary raw materials for the production. These are among other things phosphates, phosphate compounds and further special products, which are permanently available in large quantities in stock for our customers.
