Biocides are substances and products that control pests and pests such as insects, mice or rats, but also algae, fungi or bacteria. Biocides are used in many areas of private and professional life, for example as antibacterial cleaning and disinfecting agents, wood preservatives, mosquito spray and ant poison. In everyday life we use biocides for many different purposes: To rid houses and apartments of mould, to protect food from moths and beetles or to combat woodworm in building materials.
