Als St\u00f6rfall wird eine Betriebsst\u00f6rung bezeichnet, bei der in der St\u00f6rfallverordnung aufgef\u00fchrte Stoffe freigesetzt oder Br\u00e4nde bzw. Explosionen verursacht werden k\u00f6nnen, die in der Lage sind, Menschen und Umwelt zu gef\u00e4hrden.
